The first four of the following competitions are being conducted in a three tier format. Tier-1 competitions have been completed most of the colleges. The results are given tier-1 results page. Winners of tier-1 competitions and wild card entry teams from other section colleges now move into tier-2 (Division level) competitions. Description and rules for the tier-2 competitions are given below. The prizes and certificates will be supplied by SAE INDIA southern section. In all the competitions, judges' decisions are final.

The event This event is also to test the knowledge of students in automotive sciences and trends. In addition, presentation skills of the students will be brought out. The colleges should select a subject and intimate the students in advance and give two weeks time for students to prepare for the event. copy before 03-01-2008.

Three gliders should be prepared. One glider should be designed to go in a straight path. One glider should be designed to have left banking. One glider should be designed to right banking. The glider designed to go straight should go through a target hoop.
