Evolution ‘07
A One-Day Technical Seminar
Conducted by SAE HCE,
SAEINDIA Collegiate club
Of
Hindustan College of Engineering
On 2nd March 2007



On 2nd March 2007, the SAEINDIA Collegiate Club of Hindustan College conducted a one-day technical seminar, in the seminar hall of the college. Mr. S. Radhakrishnan, Vice President (R&D), Rane-TRW, Chennai, inaugurated the function by lighting the ‘Kuthuvilakku’ at 09.30 am. Mr. K. S. Ramakrishnan, CFO, IBM, Bangalore was the special guest. He had authored a self help book titled “You can become A complete Manager” & published it in the year 2003. The Principal Dr. Francis. C. Peter addressed the gathering and Mr. M. Subramanian, Asst. Professor introduced the collegiate club chair holders to the gathering. The guests were very much happy to know that 17 of the SAE HCE members are participating in the BAJA SAEINDIA 2007, the national level competition organized by SAEINDIA.

The special guest gave a lecture on personality development and the chief guest gave a lecture on ‘Steering Systems’. Mr. Senthil Kumar. K, Chairman, SAE-HCE, expressed vote of thanks.

In the afternoon session, students of the college presented technical papers, the theme of which was ‘Innovative ideas and concepts’. The event name itself was derived from this concept. Out of the 10 papers received, 6 papers were presented. The Vice-Principal gave away certificates to all and prizes to the two teams who presented best papers.
