College.

The second convention at PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore in January 2008
This convention was marked by more competitions, more locations and multi-level
format. More than 1300 students registered for this convention.
Next convention will have more contests and more participation.

time schedule:
 Tier-1 (College level) competitions: second week of August 2008
Tier-2 (Division level) competitions: first week of September 2008
Convention: last week of September or first week of October 2008

Process of selecting venues for the convention, division centres for hosting
tier-2 competitions and SAEINDIA Career
Start has started.
The venues will be announced on 25th April 2008.
The minimum criteria for a venue:
Presence of an active
SAEINDIA collegiate
club
Interest in automotive science
Reasonable to access to the campus through public transport
If not, the college should provide transport support
In addition, to host the student convention a covered place (permanent or
temporary) to accommodate 1500 students is required.
SAEINDIA would provide the technical
support, senior industry people as chief guests, prizes and basic cash expenses.
The colleges are expected to take care of the rest.

The form is in word file. You may fill in, scan and email to
saeiss@gmail.com.
Requests should be sent before 5th April 2008
Colleges can opt for more than one. However, opportunity will be given for only
one event.
