Mr. R. Venugopal
AMIE (Mechanical) and ME (Production) from Anna University. Presently working as Scientist ‘G’ Associate Director (Mechanical) at CVRDE, DRDO, Min. of Defence, Avadi, Chennai. About 40 years of experience in design, development, testing, field evaluation of Automotive systems like Automatic Transmission, Engine, Suspensions etc. He has designed and developed 1500 hp Automatic Transmission for Armoured Fighting vehicles.
Mr. S. Srinivasa Rao
B.Tech (Mechanical) from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. MBA (Technology Management) from BIM, Trichy. 22 years experience in Automotive Systems development.
Mr. G. Venkatesan
B.E (Mechanical) from Madras University, M.Tech from IIT Madras, Military Vehicle Technology course, RMCS, Uk. 17 years of experience in Automatic Transmission Development.
Mrs. V. Uma
B.E (Mechanical) from Govt. College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, M.Tech from IIT Madras. 12 years of experience in Automatic Transmission Development.
Objectives of the Course:
The participants will be equipped with necessary knowledge for selection, retro fitment of
Automatic transmission in the vehicles. Necessary knowledge on changes in vehicle power train will be presented.
The participants will acquire the knowledge and essential design philosophy, system engineering considerations, planetary gear box configurations and designs apart from torque converter and retarder integration.Dates : 22nd & 23rd February 2013
